      Welcome and thank you for visiting my e-portfolio. I am glad to have an opportunity to share it with you.

     

       My name is Sona Brahmbhatt. I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Information System at Brooklyn College. I graduated from Farmingdale State College with a Bachelors Degree in Computer Programming and Information systems. I earned my Associate degree in Computer Information Systems from Nassau Community College. I am also a certified CCNA instructor.

 

       As a Technology Support Specialist, this position has given me the opportunity to teach e-portfolio to students and faculty. As an administrator for e-portfolio, I create student and faculty accounts. I plan and coordinate workshops for e-portfolio trainings. I also teach faculty, how to use e-portfolio presentation and e-portfolio gradebook. In addition to formal training, am available to provide extra help with e-portfolio. I am easy to approach if students have any questions. I train staff members, how to use Banner system. I enjoy learning and teaching others a lot. I also have the opportunity to create and maintain the Farmingdale First website.

 

 

        After successfully completing a web development internship during the Spring of 2010 for Executrain of Long Island. This internship gave me the experience to develop skills, which I can use to fulfill requirements for this position and improve my professional development.

 

        The courses I have taken in Nassau Community College, Farmingdale State College and Brooklyn College, have prepared me for a job in the Information System Field. I have a passion for Networking/website application development and I look forward to any challenges which I can enrich my professional development and teach others.
